Where do I go to add travel tickets to my MCard?
Once you have your own MCard you'll need to add a travel ticket to it.
You can do this from the comfort of your own armchair or from various outlets throughout West Yorkshire. Here are your options:
- Download the MCard app from Google store onto your Android phone. Then you can buy and download your ticket onto your MCard anywhere and at anytime.
- Buy your bus/rail zonal MCard tickets at one of the 38 rail station kiosks in West Yorkshire, plus Cononley, Skipton, Hornbeam Park, Pannal and Harrogate.
- Visit one of our bus station travel centres or use a bus station ticket kiosk installed at Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Pontefract and Castleford. You can find your nearest Bus Station Travel Centre at http://www.wymetro.com/contactmetro/TravelCentres/TravelCentres
- Please note travel tickets cannot be loaded onto your MCard at post offices.
How far in advance can I load up a new ticket?
Usually up to 7 days in advance.
You can't use the ticket in advance of the new ticket's start date, of course if you already have a ticket that expires the day before the start of the new ticket on your card you just keep on using that.
